Knight Frank to strengthen its team in industrial park sector

03 October 2011
Most recently the Industrial, Warehouse and Land team at Knight Frank Russia and CIS has been enhanced by an appointment of Maxim Zagoruiko as an Associate Director. In his new role Maxim will be responsible for the development of the sector of industrial parks in Moscow and regions.

In 1998 Maxim graduated from Moscow State Construction University with a degree in Engineering Technology with further qualification obtained at CCIM Institute (based in the US), namely Certified Commercial Investment Member (2007).

Maxim’s total experience in the Warehouse and Industrial real estate market exceeds 10 years. From 2000 till 2007 he worked as a senior consultant at Warehouses Department of Knight Frank, Russia and CIS. Over the past 4 years he occupied a number of management posts in such Russian consultancy companies as Miel, Property Club and Warehouse Solutions and Consulting (2008-2011).

Maxim has been directly involved in the realization of the following projects, such as STD Khlebnikovo, Pokrov logistical park in Moscow Region as well as closing major lease transactions with the companies like Nestle, Schenker, Alliance Healthcare Rus etc.

Maxim Zagoruiko, Associate Director of Industrial, Warehouse and Land Department Knight Frank Russia and CIS:
«It is quite clear that there has been quite a consistent policy on behalf of government to create a favorable investment climate to enable the construction of the state-of-the-art production facilities to make Russian industrial real estate in demand amongst Russian and western companies alike. While quite a big number of the projects have been announced, there are very few of them that are of a real quality and are suitable for a quick launch of the most up-to-date manufacturing process. Knight Frank consultants with their knowledge and hands on experience in realizing industrial projects are in the best position to facilitate and support the manufacturing companies that are planning to expand their production in Russia.
I strongly believe that working with the developers of the industrial parks is bound to become one of the core areas of Knight Frank’s expertise. We are planning to provide them with consultancy services to facilitate creation of the high quality projects as well as helping them find the partners for built-to-suit projects as well as tenants for the completed properties. I am quite certain that working in this direction will make the industrial parks market more developed taking Knight Frank to the next level».

Vyacheslav Kholopov, Director of Industrial, Warehouse and Land Department, Knight Frank Russia and CIS:
«Industrial projects are becoming more and more popular with their number on the increase in Russia which is not only due to the new manufacturing businesses coming up but also due to the increase in the capacity of the existing companies. As an example a few built-to-suit industrial park projects have been announced already on the market. I am very content that this area will be now covered by such an experienced professional as Maxim Zagoruiko, who came back to us having spent 4 years away. This new appointment will undoubtedly strengthen our existing team».
